Fantasque Sans Mono

Came across a new programming font, Fantasque Sans Mono, last week that I want to try out.

Let’s start with a screen shot of a bunch of from their GitHub repo.

It’s a fixed width font, which is pretty much required for programming. It’s clean and looks a bit like handwriting.

There’s also a couple of variants with a different stroke for k. Not sure why I’d use one over the other, but it’s a nice option.

Not sure it’s going to replace Ubuntu Mono as my goto programming font, but I’m going to give it a try.
