Well, that’s pretty cool. Google just published a set of .new URLs to make it easier to create new documents, spreadsheets, slideshows or forms. With the help of the .new tld you can create new Google files by going to one of the following addresses. Just type one of these into your browser address bar and Google will bounce you to the right place.
Only thing I’m not crazy about is that it puts it in the root of your Google drive. Not sure what else it would do, but that’s the way it works. I guess it’s a little quicker than going to the right folder and clicking on the add button. But at least that puts it in the right place.
