Information We Collect

CompSci.rocks doesn't require an account, and we don't ask visitors for personal information to read tutorials, view FRQ solutions, or use the calculators on this site. Some tools on the site (like the grading calculators) run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type in are never sent to us or stored anywhere.

Like most websites, we do automatically receive some technical information from your browser, such as your general location (based on IP address), device and browser type, and which pages you visit. This is collected through the analytics and advertising services described below.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how people found the site, and similar aggregate trends. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. Embedded Content

Some pages embed YouTube videos. To keep the page fast and avoid loading anything from YouTube until you actually want to watch, videos are shown as a click-to-play thumbnail — nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click it. Once you do, YouTube's embedded player may set its own cookies and collect data according to Google's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

CompSci.rocks is intended for high school and college-level computer science students and teachers, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at site@compsci.rocks and we'll remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes. Any changes will be posted on this page.
